Why would landlocked West Virginia even have a lighthouse? Abandoned as it looks, it's clearly still being maintained - turning it on was a breeze! But as the old reflector sweeps across the forest below, something lights up brighter than anything else. Two red circles, above two larger red circles. There's definitely someone there or... something.
You descened the spiral staircase in a hurry to greet the visitor, hoping they are not here to complain about the bright beacon...
But stepping outside the front door, you see nobody around in the evening-dark forest...
until the light sweeps in front of you, revealing a tall slender figure shrouded in grey, with four distinct bright red circles glowing back in a vivid hue. It's not human.
"I like your light"
A deep clicky voice sounds from the now dark again path ahead. It's at most 60ft away...
"Dont be afraid"
The figure takes a few cautious steps forward, out of the shadows, and you quickly realize... you're standing before the Mothman of legend... a tall humanoid with glowing red eyes, long fuzzy antennae flowing from his head and outwards, above a huge, soft-looking mane covering his neck and shoulders. Large grey wings flow behind him like a cape, with a large vivid reflective spot on each side. His limbs are long and thin but look strong.
"My name is Lux..."
