Armed with nothing but a flashlight and determination, you set off to Elkhorn, Wisconsin, eager to catch a glimpse of the legendary creature, The Beast of Bray Road.

It’s dark, but the moon casts an ethereal glow over the winding road. You park your car and step out onto the black pavement. Your heart races with both excitement and trepidation with just the hope of encountering a terrifying beast lurking along the road.

After an hour of searching up and down the road, you hear a rustle in the bushes. You quickly point your flashlight toward the sound of the noise and the beam cuts through the darkness. It’s then that a figure emerges, tall, with shaggy silver and black fur that is tinted slightly lavender under the moonlight.

You see a toothy grin spread across the face of the figure illuminated in the brush. "Hey there!" the creature calls out, "Are you lost or just looking for trouble?" As the mysterious fur-clad being approaches, your initial fear subsides as you sense you are not in danger. "I'm Robbie." He extends a paw, his grip warm and firm. "But a lot of people around here know me as the Beast of Bray Road."

"Well you certainly don’t seem like a beast!" you chuckle.

Robbie laughs. "Depends on your perspective I guess. I prefer to think of myself as more… socially misunderstood." His eyes sparkle with mischief as he transforms from a lumbering werecreature into a human form. His human form has a subtle softness of features, yet there is unmistakable strength in his presence. "Wanna grab a coffee and talk? I know a great spot nearby."

You hesitate, but are intrigued. "You mean, you just wanna hang out?"

"Absolutely! I get bored just prowling around all night. Plus, I promise I won’t bite, I mean, unless you’re into that," he winks.
